For Doctors & Health Practitioners
Fit Is U, we are striving to create a transparent and seamless relationship with the medical world. Our vision is to improve the overall health and wellness of our clients through Postural Alignment and functional exercise.
We will communicate directly with the medical professionals to ensure positive functional outcomes are reached through postural alignment.

We do not diagnose any conditions, nor do we provide any treatment of medical conditions.

Postural Alignment Therapy Provides Effective Pain Relief For:
back pain, hip pain, knee pain, IT band syndrome, tennis or golfers' elbow, disc herniation, sciatica, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, TMD, migraine headaches, neck pain, scoliosis, degenerative joints, degenerative disc disease and a myriad of other pain conditions.

How Postural Alignment Therapy is different than physiotherapy, chiropractic, and pain management?
Postural Alignment Therapy looks at the body as a unit. We would look at the shoulders, hips, knees, and the ankles, do gait analysis and functional testing to help determine what works, what doesn’t work, and what is compensating for what’s not working.
It focuses on finding the root problem of your pain instead of concentrating on a symptom. We believe that the site of the pain is hardly ever the source of the pain. This means that you may experience pain in your left shoulder, but the real culprit may be the right hip, or even farther down the chain to one of the feet!
For example: we do not believe the herniated disc or stenosis is the problem but is a symptom of a larger dysfunction. We’ll start by asking questions like: “Why did the disc herniate?” “Why does the pain increase or decrease with different positions?” “What causes stenosis?”
We work with other healthcare practitioners who used to tell their patients that they believe that the herniated disc or stenosis is the cause of the pain and recommended surgery or some type of pain killers. Now they recommend us first an in many cases, we are able to help resolve the root cause of the pain and avoid surgery and long-term use of pain-killers.
